Bobbie’s Café is set to open a new location on San Antonio’s Northside on Friday, September 6. After 52 years of serving loyal customers at their original Southside spot, co-owners Ana and Greg Ferris announced the move to a larger venue at Embassy Oaks. The Southside location will close on Monday, September 2. Ana expressed gratitude towards their customers, saying, “They are what has made us and this move possible. We can’t wait to meet our new regulars from our new neighborhood.”
Known for its comforting breakfast dishes like French toast, pancakes, and omelettes, Bobbie’s Café also offers a popular chicken fried steak plate and various lunch specials. Though the original location is closing, Bobbie’s will still maintain a presence in the Southside with a new location at 922 Goliad Road, in the building that once housed Neptune’s Seafood House.
The larger Northside location will allow Bobbie’s Café to serve even more of its loyal fanbase while welcoming new customers. Ana and Greg Ferris are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and look forward to continuing the café’s legacy of great food and excellent service in their new neighborhood.
