Austin Jewelry Powerhouse Expands to San Antonio with Yellow Rose

What new Western-inspired lifestyle brand is opening its first-ever San Antonio storefront?

Kendra Scott, the Texas-born jewelry mogul, is bringing her latest retail concept to the Alamo City. Her brand Yellow Rose, a lifestyle line blending Western heritage with modern design, is opening its first-ever San Antonio store at the Historic Pearl.

A Love Letter to Texas

Launched in 2023, Yellow Rose represents a personal project for Scott, inspired by her love of Texas and her family ranch. The line combines cowgirl-chic style with modern sophistication, offering hats, boots, apparel, home goods, and accessories that reimagine traditional Western flair for today’s lifestyle.

“This is more than just a store; it’s a love letter to Texas and a tribute to the incredible journey I’ve been on over the past two decades,” Scott has said. “We’ve built a vibrant community around our passion for design and artistry, and we can’t wait to share this new space with everyone who has supported us along the way.”

The New Pearl Location

The San Antonio store will sit at 302 Pearl Parkway, under the entrance arch and directly across from Rancho Diaz home decor. The location holds symbolic weight, anchoring itself in one of the city’s most vibrant and historic districts.

Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with a target completion date of January 6, 2026, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The $650,000 project will renovate the former Ten Thousand Villages fair trade gift shop into a new retail destination.

Fourth Store Nationwide

Yellow Rose is still a young brand but has quickly expanded since its 2023 debut:

  • Austin: South Congress Avenue, near the flagship Kendra Scott store

  • Dallas and Houston: Both opened in early 2025 to enthusiastic crowds

  • San Antonio: The fourth-ever location, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s growth

Like its sister stores, the Pearl location is expected to include Yellow Rose’s custom hat bar, boots, tote bags, and other one-of-a-kind designs that celebrate craftsmanship.

Supporting Artisans and the American West

Yellow Rose isn’t just about fashion — it’s also about giving back. A portion of every purchase supports the Nest Women of the West Fund, which provides mentorship, coaching, and financial resources to artisans and makers across the American West.

Through this initiative and other efforts, Kendra Scott has donated nearly $70 million to philanthropic causes nationwide. With Yellow Rose, she continues that mission by uplifting emerging entrepreneurs while also celebrating Western culture.

A Distinctive Design Philosophy

What sets Yellow Rose apart from the broader Kendra Scott jewelry line is its juxtaposition of antiquity and modernity. Products are rooted in rustic textures and classic craftsmanship while embracing bold, contemporary flair. Wholesale partnerships bring additional variety, including items from:

  • Westerly Hide Blazers

  • HbarC Apparel

  • Juan Antonio handbags and leather jackets

  • Three Sons

  • Full Circle vintage boots

  • Rock Tees

  • Inlaid Boots

These curated collections reinforce the brand’s identity as a Texas-inspired lifestyle label with national reach.

The Takeaway

With the opening of Yellow Rose at the Pearl, San Antonio is getting more than just a new boutique — it’s welcoming a concept that celebrates Texas tradition, modern design, and community impact. For locals and visitors alike, the new store promises to blend shopping with storytelling, offering products that carry both style and substance.
