Busted Sandal Brewing Co. from San Antonio opening a new taproom in Kerrville
According to company officials, today, July 1st, San Antonio's Busted Sandal Brewing Co. will open its latest location in the town of Kerrville, located in the Hill Country.
Busted Sandal Brewing Co. recently took to Facebook to share exciting news about their new taproom located at 711 Water St. The taproom, called Busted Sandal Favorite Saloon, will have an impressive selection of 20 craft beer taps, a wine menu, and even a food truck on-site. The announcement, made on June 25, generated anticipation for the grand opening and the delightful offerings that await beer and wine enthusiasts at their new spot.
Busted Sandal's upcoming Kerrville location will mark their third establishment. Their original flagship taproom, which opened in 2013, is situated at 7114 Oaklawn Drive. This location gained popularity for offering a core selection of craft brews from an all-electric 10-barrel alehouse. In addition, Busted Sandal opened a second venue—a beer garden—located at 14743 Old Bandera Road in Helotes in January 2020. The expansion of Busted Sandal's presence to Kerrville adds to their growing collection of unique beer destinations.
San Antonio's Busted Sandal Brewing Co. offers a selection of five year-round beers, each with its own distinct flavor. Their lineup includes the refreshing 210 Ale, the hoppy Slippery Rock IPA, and a collaborative Mexican lager called Finding Friday, named after a well-known local cover band in the Alamo City. These brews showcase the brewery's commitment to crafting quality beers that cater to different tastes and preferences.
The Kerrville taproom’s grand opening will run noon to midnight today (7/1).
