Fancy Ferris Wheel Bar Elsewhere Too Teases October Opening

by Tre Serrano

San Antonio is about to welcome its newest whimsical hangout — Elsewhere Too. Set to open the first week of October, the North Side bar and restaurant promises a magical atmosphere complete with a 42-foot flower tunnel, a swing pavilion, cozy fire pits, misting fans, and its show-stopping centerpiece — a 52-foot Ferris wheel.

The project, located at 4507 N. Loop 1604 W near Shavano Park, comes nearly a year after its groundbreaking. Owners Terrin Fuhrmann and Nolan Ellis, who first made waves with Elsewhere Garden Bar and Kitchen on the River Walk, say this sequel will keep the same playful and imaginative vibe that made the original location an instant favorite.

Elsewhere's aesthetic is very intentional. It provokes a positive emotional reaction with the foliage, the colorful flowers, the supportive phrases, the whimsical art, and the live performers,” Fuhrmann shared in an earlier interview.

Like its downtown predecessor, Elsewhere Too will be a family-friendly destination featuring twinkling lights, immersive art installations, and even a Victorian-style greenhouse for private parties. While the exact food and drink menu hasn’t been revealed yet, guests can expect familiar offerings like craft beer, wine, seltzers, and pub-style bites such as cauliflower wings and Philly cheesesteak fries.

Located in a growing entertainment district near the Loop 1604/I-10 interchange, Elsewhere Too joins other big-name projects like PopStroke and the upcoming Pinthouse Brewing, making the area a hotspot for nightlife and family fun alike.
