by Tre Serrano

San Antonio families, get ready — a new adventure park is leaping into the Alamo City! NRG Adventure Park, a high-energy family entertainment center, is set to open at Pavilions North Shopping Center, 25 NE Loop 410.

Renovations are scheduled to begin August 15, 2025, with a projected completion by April 30, 2026, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

What’s Inside NRG Adventure Park?

This indoor adventure hub promises fun for all ages, featuring:

  • Wall-to-wall trampolines

  • A challenging ninja course

  • A ropes course and dodgeball

  • A jousting pit

  • A toddler play zone with a ball pit

Special Events and Family Programs

NRG Adventure Park isn’t just about high-energy play — it’s designed with inclusivity in mind:

  • Sensory-friendly hours each month with softer music and no flashing lights

  • Kid-friendly mornings three times a week for children ages 7 and under

  • Neon Nights on Fridays and Saturdays with music, lights, and rave-style energy for older kids and teens

A National Expansion

The San Antonio location will be one of three NRG Adventure Parks opening in Texas (alongside Austin and Plano). The brand has already launched its first park in Springfield, New Jersey, with plans for more than 100 nationwide locations.

With the rise of similar family entertainment centers like Launch Entertainment also expanding into Central Texas. NRG Adventure Park is aiming to make its mark by offering next-level fun for kids and families alike.
