Are you ready to go back to school? Well, not really, but San Antonio's newest bar and patio is sure to make you feel like a student again. Home Room is the latest venture from Marika Olmstead-Wright and Marc "Frenchy" Groleau of Pacific Moon and Charlie Brown’s Neighborhood Bar fame, in partnership with Austin nightclub owner Jason Hart. Taking over an old schoolhouse as its home base, Home Room promises a unique experience for all those who enter!
A visit to Home Room is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Not only does the bar itself take over an old child-care center, but its exterior features are also reminiscent of a school playground. Patrons can enjoy games such as Connect 4, Jenga, cornhole and oversized beer pong on the Astroturfed outdoor area. The bar also has a set of swings, a photo booth and an arcade basketball game. For those with four-legged friends, there's even a dog park area for them to explore! And if you need something to eat there are food trucks onsite that provide plenty of options.
Home Room is the perfect place to let loose and have fun. Whether you’re looking for some nostalgic vibes, a game of beer pong or just want to hang out with your pup in the dog park area, this bar has it all! With free parking available behind the building under the highway and valet service also an option, getting there couldn't be easier.
Home Room will be open M-F 6p-2a and on Weekends from 2p-2a
