Popular drive-thru salad chain Salad and Go is shutting down all of its Houston-area locations effective Sept. 19, 2025, according to an official statement from CEO Mike Tattersfield. The closures will allow the company to refocus its resources on strengthening operations in Dallas, where it will continue to serve customers.

Why the Closures?

In an email release, Tattersfield shared that the decision was made to ensure the brand can deliver on its promise of providing delicious, affordable, and nutritious food. He emphasized the team’s dedication and confirmed support is being offered to employees affected by the transition.

“We believe in the power and mission of this brand, and in the positive impact it can have for the communities we serve,” said Tattersfield. “This change will ultimately give us the foundation we need to grow stronger.”
