San Antonio… but make it Minecraft

by Tre Serrano

What happens when San Antonio meets Minecraft? You get pixel-perfect vibes with a blocky twist. 🏗️🟪

From the Alamo to the River Walk, we’ve reimagined some of the city’s most iconic landmarks in full Minecraft glory—and yes, it’s just as cool (and nostalgic) as it sounds.

This fun visual project isn’t just for gamers—it’s a creative way to spotlight San Antonio’s rich culture, unique architecture, and the places we love… one block at a time.

🏛️ What’s Already Been Blockified?

So far, we’ve dropped Minecraft-style versions of:

  • The Alamo (because of course)

  • The River Walk

  • Downtown skyline

  • The Pearl

  • Japanese Tea Garden

  • And yes, even the North Star Mall boots

Each build is a tribute to the real-deal landmarks that make this city special—whether you're a tourist, a proud local, or just someone who loves architecture in block form.

🧱 Why Minecraft?

Minecraft isn’t just a game—it’s a modern sandbox for creativity. Reimagining San Antonio in Minecraft:

  • Brings education and entertainment together

  • Inspires kids and creatives to explore our city differently

  • Celebrates local pride through digital storytelling

Plus, it’s fun. Like… ridiculously fun.

🎮 What Landmark Should Be Next?

That’s where you come in. We’re taking suggestions for which San Antonio location gets the Minecraft treatment next.
Should it be:

  • The Frost Tower?

  • Fiesta San Antonio floats?

  • Natural Bridge Caverns?

  • Six Flags Fiesta Texas?

Drop your vote in the comments or send us a DM. Your pick could be next to go pixel-perfect.
