Head Space, a hybrid bar-cafe-hair salon opens in San Antonio's King William neighborhood
Head Space is a collaboration between chef Mike Torres and hairstylist Anya Krotova.
According to MySA, a new establishment named Head Space is set to open near Brackenridge High School. It will be a combination of a bar, cafe, and hair salon where customers can take care of their physical appearance and mental well-being at the same time.
According to the news site, the hybrid business is currently providing a small selection of coffee, snacks, and salon services during its trial opening phase. It is situated on Playmoor Street at number 109. On May 5th, chef John Mesa will be holding a temporary dinner event for First Friday. Space will be adorned by art from Jorge Villareal during this event.
According to MySA, Head Space is a joint venture between chef Mike Torres and hairstylist Anya Krotova. Customers can now make salon appointments through the Head Space website.
Head Space, upon complete launching, will provide a list of coffee beverages, including espresso, and food alternatives including breakfast tacos, pork sliders, and brisket hash. A menu is also available online featuring a new weekly item. The current week has homemade biscuits served with sausage gravy as its specialty.
Head Space is open for business from Monday to Friday, starting at 7 a.m. and closing at 2 p.m. According to their website, the operating hours are expected to increase in the near future.
