According to The New York Times, two restaurants from San Antonio and Seguin have been recognized as top 20 Texas barbecue eateries of the "new generation."
The recently released list includes 2M Smokehouse located on the Southeast Side of San Antonio and Burnt Bean Company situated in downtown Seguin. Both restaurants have secured a spot among the top barbecue eateries of the "new generation."
The New York Times article emphasized that the list showcases the "new faces of Texas barbecue" that have contributed to making the state a prominent food destination. The report specifically considered only eateries that have opened since 2011. According to the article, the unique culinary offerings at these restaurants reflect the diverse and enriched population of Texas, influenced by newcomers from various states and countries.
2M Smokehouse, situated at 2731 South WW White Road, received recognition for its standout dishes, including pork ribs, brisket, and their unique "chicharoni macaroni."
