Signature at La Cantera and The Study at Dean's at the Kimpton Santo Hotel have earned national recognition as two of the best hotel restaurants in the country, according to a new joint list from OpenTable and Kayak.

The two standout Alamo City spots were named to the Top 100 Hotel Restaurants in the U.S., a list that highlights where travelers are dining—not just staying. It's a major nod to San Antonio's growing reputation as a culinary destination.

The rankings are based on data collected from June 2024 through May 2025, with OpenTable analyzing diner ratings and five-star reviews, while Kayak measured how often the restaurants were factored into hotel bookings.

🥂 San Antonio's Celebrated Spots

The Study at Dean’s, on the other hand, offers a hidden, speakeasy-style experience in a shaded courtyard off Houston Street. Known for its high-end cocktails and moody ambiance, it’s a reservation-only gem inside the Kimpton Santo Hotel.

Interestingly, some of San Antonio’s other highly acclaimed hotel restaurants didn’t make the list — including:
